Her extensive experience as an athlete, competing for her local athletics club and representing Sussex athletics in prestigious events like the English Schools Track and Field Championships, has given her invaluable insights into the diverse range of injuries encountered in sports.
Abby’s dedication to her field led her to pursue a Sport Conditioning, Rehabilitation, and Massage degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where she successfully completed her studies alongside part-time work and maintaining an active social life. During her time at the university, she achieved the highest sports massage qualification available in the UK, the Level 5 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy. This comprehensive training, combined with practical experience gained from working with both general clients and athletes ranging from amateurs to elites, has equipped her with the necessary skills to deliver top-notch care.
Currently, Abby is available at The Therapy Barn on Thursdays. In addition to her role at the clinic, she also works as a Clinical Assistant in the MRI department at the Princess Royal Hospital, further expanding her expertise in the field.

Meet Caz – Pilates Instructor at The Therapy Barn
Caroline, better known as Caz, is a Level 3 CIMSPA-qualified Pilates Instructor and the founder of CB Fitness Pilates. She leads a variety of Pilates classes in and around Lingfield, offering group sessions, private 1:1 training, and small online classes.
Currently working towards her Level 4 Advanced Pilates qualification, Caz is dedicated to expanding her expertise, particularly in supporting those with orthopaedic conditions. Grace is a skilled Sports Massage Therapist and a dedicated Physiotherapy student at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, where she is also a cycling Sports Scholar. With her academic knowledge, hands-on experience, and athletic background, she’s a key member of The Therapy Barn team.
Before starting her Physiotherapy degree, Grace worked as a Physiotherapy Technical Instructor in the NHS Paediatric Department during a gap year. This experience strengthened her passion for rehabilitation and patient care, setting the foundation for her current journey in the health and wellness field.
Having grown up surrounded by sports, Grace has always understood the physical demands of an active lifestyle. Her journey began with swimming and netball, before evolving into over eight years of competitive equestrian eventing. More recently, she’s spent the past four years as a competitive cyclist, racing nationally and across Europe. This extensive athletic background gives her a unique understanding of the needs of both athletes and active individuals, allowing her to provide treatments that are tailored and effective.

Laura is the founder of The Therapy Barn Surrey Ltd., which she established in 2019 after gaining several years of experience as an independent therapist. She qualified in Soft Tissue Therapy & Sports Massage from the LSSM in 2014.
A lifelong passion for sports and fitness has shaped Laura’s career, with her love for horses playing a key role in her decision to pursue soft tissue therapy. During her A-Levels, she shadowed an equine and human therapist and quickly realised the positive impact soft tissue therapy could have on both animals and people.
Laura’s treatment philosophy centres on identifying and addressing the root cause of pain or injury, rather than just alleviating symptoms. Over the years, she has developed a signature approach that has helped hundreds of clients from all walks of life achieve lasting relief.

Erica is a highly skilled Sports Therapist with an Advanced Level 6 Clinical Diploma from Active Health Group and a Sport and Exercise Science Degree from Loughborough University.
